Meet the Seren’s Wish Charity Team
Seren’s Wish Charity is powered by a small, hands‑on team of people who bring real experience, creativity, and heart to everything we do. We’re volunteer-led, rooted in our local community, and united by one simple aim: helping children, families, and adults feel supported, connected, and welcomed.

A little more about our crew.
Childcare & Family Support Expertise
Our team includes a highly skilled childcare professional with years of hands‑on experience supporting children of all ages. Alongside them is a former family support worker who brings deep knowledge of early help, safeguarding, and practical charity work. Together, they help shape activities, events, and support that feel safe, inclusive, and genuinely useful for local families.
Play Leaders & Activity Volunteers
Our play leaders bring energy, imagination, and a brilliant understanding of what makes children feel engaged and confident. They design fun, accessible activities that help children explore, create, and connect with others. Whether it’s a community event, a themed session, or a seasonal celebration, they make sure every child feels welcome.
Creative & Community Volunteers
We’re lucky to have a growing group of creative volunteers who help with everything from crafting resources to running events, designing displays, and bringing ideas to life. Their enthusiasm and imagination help us create warm, joyful spaces where people feel part of something special.
Lived Experience at the Heart
Seren’s Wish Charity is shaped by people who understand the challenges families face because they’ve lived them. This lived experience guides our decisions, our projects, and the way we support our community. It keeps us grounded, practical, and focused on what really helps.
Working Together for Our Community
Every member of our team—whether they’re leading play, supporting families, organising events, or creating something magical behind the scenes—plays a vital role. We’re proud to be a local charity built on kindness, teamwork, and the belief that small acts of support can make a big difference.
